The Nail First salon in Atlanta captured this peculiar incident on their surveillance video.
As the suspect barged into the salon, he yelled, “Everybody get down! Give me your money! Give me your money!” The video revealed the suspect keeping his hand concealed inside a bag, creating the illusion of possessing a weapon.
However, his demands were met with minimal reaction.
The customers remained seated, seemingly unaffected, with some not even bothering to acknowledge his presence.
Amidst the apathy, only one woman cautiously stood up and raised her hands. The suspect took her phone as she gradually made her way to the exit, still keeping an eye on the unfolding situation.
Eventually, the robber grew frustrated and hastily fled the scene.
The Atlanta Police Department’s Robbery Unit is actively seeking assistance from the public to aid in their ongoing investigation, as reported by Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
Witnesses stated that the suspect, wearing a blue hat, sunglasses, and blue jeans, entered the premises.
