Trump Strikes Iran’s Nukes in Surprise Attack

(Scypre.com) – The United States has launched a bold and unprecedented military operation targeting three of Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Former President Donald Trump announced the strikes late Saturday, describing them as a “spectacular military success” and a “defining moment for global security.” According to U.S. defense officials, the operation utilized B-2 stealth bombers equipped with bunker-buster bombs and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles to penetrate Iran’s underground enrichment sites, crippling critical infrastructure believed to be central to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

The attack on Fordow, buried deep beneath a mountain near the city of Qom, was particularly significant, as it housed advanced centrifuges enriching uranium to near-weapons-grade levels. Natanz, Iran’s primary uranium enrichment center, was hit with a combination of aerial and naval firepower. The facility in Isfahan, responsible for uranium conversion and chemical processing, also sustained heavy damage. Trump emphasized that the strikes were not an act of war but a “preemptive measure” to ensure Iran could not threaten the region or the United States with nuclear weapons. The Pentagon later confirmed that the mission marked the largest operational deployment of B-2 bombers in U.S. history.

Iranian leaders reacted swiftly and furiously, condemning the strikes as a blatant violation of international law. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called the attack a “heinous crime” and vowed there would be “lasting and painful consequences.” The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps promised a strong and “regrettable” retaliation. Despite reports that Iran had removed significant quantities of enriched uranium from the facilities ahead of the attack, the damage to critical infrastructure appears substantial. Meanwhile, world leaders expressed deep concern over the risk of a broader conflict. While allies like Israel praised the operation, other global powers including Russia and China condemned it, urging all parties to exercise restraint. As the world watches closely, the situation remains volatile, and further escalation seems likely in the days ahead.
