Bon Jovi Saves A Jumper From Suicide

(Scypre.com) – Jon Bon Jovi found himself at the right place and time on Tuesday when he stepped in to help a woman in distress on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer, who was on set filming a music video, saw the woman experiencing a “moment of crisis” and sprang into action. According to reports from Fox News Digital, Bon Jovi helped talk her down from the edge, preventing her from jumping into the Cumberland River.

The Metro Nashville Police Department acknowledged his efforts in a statement on X, praising the singer and his team: “A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.” The incident marks yet another example of Bon Jovi’s commitment to aiding others in need.

Bon Jovi is no stranger to philanthropy. In 2006, he founded the JBJ Soul Foundation to help those affected by hunger, poverty, and homelessness. The foundation’s goal is to support individuals by offering food, affordable housing, and programs that provide job training and social services. Over the years, the JBJ Soul Foundation has expanded its efforts across 12 states, helping thousands of people, including at-risk youth and veterans.

The foundation’s signature initiative, JBJ Soul Kitchens, serves warm, nutritious meals to those in need. Currently, there are three JBJ Soul Kitchens operating in New Jersey, and they continue to embody Bon Jovi’s commitment to addressing hunger and homelessness.
