(Scypre.com) – The Israeli-Hamas conflict has taken a distressing turn, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office releasing shocking images on Thursday. These pictures, located in Kfar Aza, a region near the Gaza Strip in southern Israel, were presented as evidence of heinous acts committed by Hamas terrorists, including the alleged murder and burning of infants.
The images depicted the harrowing scenes of two infants who were tragically burned alive, while a third image appeared to show a decapitated infant in a blood-stained onesie. Notably, the pictures were seemingly taken within a medical facility.
Netanyahu’s office emphasized the gravity of the situation, sharing these images with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The accompanying message read, “Warning: These are horrifying photos of babies murdered and burned by the Hamas monsters. Hamas is inhuman. Hamas is ISIS.”
Blinken, after viewing the images, struggled to find words to express the horror. He likened the scenes to a nightmare, stating, “It’s beyond what anyone would ever want to imagine, much less actually see and, God forbid, experience. A baby, an infant riddled with bullets, soldiers beheaded, young people burned alive in their cars or in their hideaway rooms.”
The sheer depravity of the situation left him nearly speechless, drawing comparisons to the atrocities of ISIS. He emphasized that these images were almost incomprehensible and profoundly disturbing, prompting a collective sense of grief and determination within the country.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) encountered this nightmarish scenario when Hamas terrorists infiltrated Kfar Aza and neighboring communities in southern Israel on a Saturday. Local Israeli media reported that the soldiers discovered approximately 200 casualties, including 40 infants, some of whom had been decapitated.
Describing the situation, IDF Maj. Gen. Itai Veruv stressed that this was not a typical war or battlefield; it was a horrifying tragedy that unfolded within the homes and protection rooms of families.
As of Thursday, the conflict had claimed the lives of more than 1,200 individuals in Israel since it erupted on that fateful Saturday.
