Kamala Harris Responds To Joe Rogan’s Invitation to Podcast

(Scypre.com) – Podcast host Joe Rogan recently revealed that his planned interview with Vice President Kamala Harris fell through due to demands from her campaign, although he suggested it could still happen under different terms.

On Friday, Rogan hosted a conversation with former President Donald Trump that spanned three hours, accumulating over 36 million views on YouTube. This type of extended discussion is typical for Rogan’s show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which often runs between two and three hours.

Following the release of the Trump interview, Rogan took to social media platform X to clarify why he had yet to host an interview with Harris, who is also the Democratic presidential nominee. “Also, for the record, the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast,” Rogan explained on Monday night. “They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her, and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin.”

Rogan also emphasized that he genuinely wanted the opportunity to speak with Harris on a personal level. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen,” he added. The Harris campaign did not immediately provide a response to Fox News Digital when approached for comment.

During his extensive conversation with Trump, the former president criticized Harris for declining Rogan’s popular podcast.

“Can you imagine Kamala doing this show?” Trump asked, suggesting she might be uncomfortable with the freewheeling style of Rogan’s interviews.

Rogan responded, “I could imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it, she might still do it, and I hope she does.”

“She’s not gonna do it,” Trump replied confidently.

Rogan reiterated his intent, saying, “I will talk to her like a human being.” However, Trump continued to speculate, “If she did this kind of an interview with you, I hope she does because it would be a mess. She would be laying on the floor comatose.”

On the same day Trump recorded the podcast with Rogan in Austin, Texas, Harris was holding a campaign rally in Houston, just a short distance away. The event drew attention, as she appeared alongside Houston native and music superstar Beyoncé. Contrary to premature reports from some media outlets, Beyoncé did not perform but instead delivered a brief speech expressing her support for the vice president. The crowd, estimated at around 30,000 people, instead enjoyed a performance by 91-year-old music legend Willie Nelson.

Although Harris did not have time to appear on Rogan’s podcast, the possibility of her joining “The Joe Rogan Experience” remains, with Rogan expressing his desire for a genuine, in-depth discussion.
