Russia Issues Arrest Warrant for Republican Lindsey Graham

(Scypre.com) – Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, responded strongly to Russia’s warrant for his arrest, urging them to present their case before the International Criminal Court (ICC) instead.

Following Graham’s accusations of Russia’s involvement in war crimes in Ukraine and his endorsement of US military aid to Ukraine as a worthwhile investment, Russian officials issued the arrest warrant.

These statements were made by Graham during a recorded meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In response, Graham expressed his willingness to accept the ICC’s judgment if Russia does the same.

In his statement on Monday, Graham challenged his Russian “friends” who seek to arrest and try him for his criticism of the Putin regime’s actions, offering to subject himself to the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

He invited them to present their strongest argument and anticipated meeting them in The Hague. Graham also regarded the arrest warrant as a source of pride and honor.

According to US estimates, the Russian invasion that began in February 2022 has resulted in the deaths of approximately 42,000 Ukrainian civilians. Additionally, Russian forces have suffered 50,000 casualties, with numbers continuing to rise, and 180,000 soldiers wounded.

Ukrainian forces have also endured significant losses, with 20,000 soldiers killed and 130,000 wounded over the past 15 months. Graham expressed joy in knowing that his support for Ukraine has drawn the ire of Putin’s regime, and he affirmed his commitment to standing with Ukraine until all Russian soldiers are expelled from its territory.

Graham’s conflict with Putin’s regime unfolded alongside a series of drone attacks on both Moscow and Kyiv. Russia has been launching repeated missile, drone, and bomb attacks on the Ukrainian capital, most of which have been successfully intercepted. However, the recent attack on Moscow marked the first time the Russian capital experienced similar acts of aggression.

Residents of Moscow reported hearing explosions, and the Defense Ministry later confirmed that eight drones had been launched at the city in what they termed a “terrorist attack” by the “Kyiv regime.” The ministry stated that five drones were successfully intercepted, while the systems of three others were jammed, causing them to deviate from their intended path.
