(Scypre.com) – During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on Saturday night in Philadelphia, tensions arose that were noticeable in the atmosphere.
While performing her popular song “Bad Blood” at Lincoln Financial Field, Swift’s energetic concert was momentarily disrupted by an off-stage incident.
As the song progressed towards the chorus, Swift’s agitation became evident as she yelled at an unidentified individual, expressing, “She’s fine. She wasn’t doing anything!”
The intensity of the moment grew as Swift continued to raise her voice, interjecting with “Hey! Stop!” Confusion arose among the fans, who wondered whether this was part of the performance or an unplanned occurrence, considering the nature of the song.
Swift clarified that something was indeed amiss, particularly since she doesn’t typically address her fans in such a manner. Before resuming her set, the 12-time Grammy Award winner emphatically exclaimed “Stop” once more.
Despite the incident going viral on social media through a widely shared video, Swift chose not to directly acknowledge the disturbance during the concert.
Swift’s supporters immediately came to her defense, asserting that she was yelling at a security guard to ensure the safety of her fans.
People on social media eagerly awaited the fan involved in the incident to come forward and shed light on the situation.
A video surfaced on TikTok, shared by one of Swift’s friends, featuring Maryland resident Kelly Kelly as the fan Swift had defended. Kelly explained that the security guard had been harassing their group throughout the night, frequently admonishing them not to touch the rail and closely monitoring their actions.
Kelly and her friends were enjoying themselves by dancing, but the security guard took exception to their behavior. Swift noticed Kelly’s enjoyment and the guard’s disapproval, prompting her intervention. Eventually, the security guard was escorted out, and the group was offered free tickets for the subsequent night’s concert.
The video garnered over a million likes, leading Kelly to create her own TikTok account and express her gratitude to Swift for standing up for her.
Kelly also appeared on Good Morning America (GMA) to provide further details, highlighting that she and her friends had secured front row seats for the concert.
Recalling the incident, she mentioned that the guard repeatedly told her to stop, calm down, and refrain from dancing. Kelly was surprised and grateful when Swift yelled at the guard, instructing him to leave her alone and asserting that she had done nothing wrong.
Taylor Swift’s tour will continue at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts after her performances in Philadelphia.
A recent incident at her concert, unrelated to her singing, gained viral attention. Swift interrupted her rendition of “Bad Blood” in Philadelphia to address an apparent disagreement between a security guard and a concertgoer.
Videos capturing Swift’s comments circulated on social media platforms, one of which amassed over 6 million views on Twitter. CBS News Baltimore identified the fan as Kelly Inglis, an elementary school teacher and mother from Maryland.
In a TikTok video shared by her friend Caitlin Gabell, Inglis provided her perspective on the situation. The caption, “Its me, hi, im the problem,” alluded to Swift’s song “Anti-Hero.” Inglis explained that the security guard had been “harassing” her and her group throughout the night, closely monitoring their activities. She expressed that the guard disapproved of their dancing and fun.
Eventually, the guard was escorted out, and Inglis and her group were offered tickets for the following night’s concert.
CBS News reached out to the venue, Lincoln Financial Field, for a comment, and they confirmed that the issue had been resolved internally.
In a subsequent TikTok post from her personal account, Inglis expressed heartfelt gratitude to Swift for her actions the previous night.
