This Businessman Just Donated Billions to Joe Biden

(Scypre.com) – In the third quarter, disclosures examined by Fox News Digital reveal that President Biden’s re-election efforts received significant financial support from notable billionaires, including George Soros.

These affluent donors contributed six-figure sums to the Biden Victory Fund, a collaborative fundraising initiative involving Biden’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), all 50 state Democratic parties, and Washington, D.C.’s Democratic committee.

Their contributions were made between July and September, and this fundraising structure permits benefactors to donate up to $929,600 each per election cycle. Joint fundraising committees have become increasingly popular in recent years, allowing donors to provide substantial funding to a single entity, which then distributes the funds to the various groups involved in the campaign.

Soros, for instance, made his largest contribution to Biden’s re-election efforts during the third quarter by donating $250,000 to the Biden Victory Fund on September 29. This generous contribution followed an earlier maximum donation directly to Biden’s campaign in the summer.

Soros and his son, Alex, who recently assumed control of the Open Society Foundations network that channels significant funds to left-wing nonprofits and causes, both contributed $6,600 each to Biden’s campaign on June 30.

Given their support during the 2020 elections, it is likely that the Soroses will continue to provide substantial backing to Biden’s re-election efforts, including support for outside super PACs endorsing his candidacy.

In the previous presidential election, George had donated $500,000 to the Biden Victory Fund and millions more to super PACs supporting him. Alex had contributed $721,300 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020. Alex has also maintained close access to Biden’s White House, visiting at least 20 times since the president assumed office and engaging with prominent figures within the Democratic Party.

In addition to George Soros, other prominent billionaires also played a significant role in bolstering Biden’s joint fundraising committee during the third quarter. For example, filings indicate that Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Steve Jobs, provided a substantial contribution of $929,000 to the fund in September. Powell Jobs is known for founding the Emerson Collective, a private grantmaking foundation focused on climate, education, journalism, and related areas.

She had previously supported the parent company of a network of liberal-oriented news sites. Additionally, the Biden Victory Fund received maximum contributions of $929,600 over the past three months from several individuals, including sports executive Casey Wasserman, casino magnate Neil Bluhm, real estate mogul Kurt Rappaport, businessman Haim Saban, and philanthropist Ellen Bronfman Hauptman.

Overall, during the third quarter, the Biden Victory Fund successfully raised just over $48 million. Records indicate that a substantial portion of these funds, totaling $17.75 million, was allocated to support Biden’s campaign in late September, with an additional $5 million transferred to the DNC.
