Trump Roasts Kamala Harris In Fiery Speech

(Scypre.com) – At a rally on Sunday, former President Donald Trump made bold accusations against Vice President Kamala Harris, stating that she should be “impeached and prosecuted” for her actions related to the southern U.S. border. Trump claimed Harris’s decisions at the border were directly responsible for loss of life, remarking, “People were murdered because of her action at the border, and thousands more will follow in rapid succession.” He further emphasized that she should face legal consequences for her role.

The former president’s comments were not limited to policy critiques. He launched personal attacks on Harris, echoing sentiments he had expressed just the day before at another rally, where he described the vice president as “mentally disabled” and “mentally impaired.” Trump’s escalating rhetoric comes as Harris remains a key figure in the Democratic ticket during a particularly tight presidential race. His remarks, particularly those aimed at Harris, have increasingly taken a personal tone, often focusing on her gender and race.

Trump has also extended his aggressive stance to other political figures and private individuals, threatening to take action against his perceived opponents if re-elected. Among those he has mentioned are Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, and he has alluded to potential prosecutions targeting election officials, donors, and operatives.

In defense of her policies, Harris has frequently highlighted Trump’s actions that undermined efforts to address border security. She pointed to his role in blocking a bipartisan agreement in Congress earlier this year, which would have dealt with many of the immigration issues he now raises. “Even though Donald Trump tried to sabotage the border security bill, it is my pledge to you that as president of the United States, I will bring it back up and proudly sign it into law,” Harris said during her recent visit to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Despite Harris’s efforts, Trump continues to gain traction on the issue. A recent NBC News poll revealed that 54% of registered voters believe Trump would be more effective in securing the border and handling immigration than Harris, who garnered only 33% support in the same poll. Trump has frequently blamed Harris for what he claims are millions of illegal border crossings since President Joe Biden took office, dubbing her the administration’s “border czar.”

Trump’s characterization of Harris’s mental capacity has been a recurring theme in his recent rallies. In Wisconsin, he referred to her as someone “born mentally impaired,” and he reiterated these claims on Sunday, saying, “Crooked Joe Biden became mentally impaired — sad. But lying Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way.”

At the same rally, Trump continued his attacks, calling Harris a “stupid person.” His comments drew cheers and chants of “lock her up” from the crowd.

When asked about Trump’s remarks on Harris’s mental fitness, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung did not back down, stating that Harris is “wholly unfit to serve as president.” He pointed to recently released Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data, which reported that 13,000 migrants convicted of homicide are currently living in the U.S. outside of immigration detention, as proof of her incompetence. However, a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security clarified that the data in question spans four decades and is not solely tied to the Biden administration.

The Harris campaign has not yet responded to Trump’s comments from Sunday. Following Trump’s rally on Saturday, Harris campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika issued a statement saying that Trump offers “nothing inspiring to the American people, just darkness.” She further criticized his agenda, calling it a “bleak, backward-looking Project 2025 agenda.”

Even some Republicans have expressed discomfort with Trump’s recent attacks on Harris. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., when asked if he approved of Trump’s language, responded, “I think we should stick on the issues.” Meanwhile, Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., expressed a more measured criticism, stating, “The better course to take is to prosecute the case that her policies are destroying the country.”

Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, also weighed in, describing Trump’s comments as “insulting, not only to the vice president, but to people that actually do have mental disabilities.” Hogan, who has been critical of both Trump and Harris, reiterated that neither has earned his vote.
