Trump To Rally In New York’s Madison Square Garden

(Scypre.com) – Former President Donald Trump is set to host a massive campaign rally in New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday, just nine days before voters head to the polls. The event, which promises to be a spectacle, sold out within hours of being announced, with eager supporters quickly securing spots in the 19,500-seat venue—home to both the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.

According to Trump’s campaign, the rally will feature a star-studded lineup including political figures, celebrities, musicians, and close friends of the former president, all aiming to demonstrate why Trump is “the best choice to fix everything that Kamala Harris broke.” In a press release, the campaign described the event as “an epic showcase of the historic political movement that President Trump has built, taking place right in the heart of his home city during the final days of the campaign.”

Among those expected to attend are high-profile figures such as Elon Musk and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White. Musk, who has been vocal in his support for Trump, previously joined the former president for a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, earlier this month. White, a longtime friend of Trump, played a key role in helping him reconnect with the mixed martial arts community in the early 2000s, and introduced Trump at this year’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Other notable attendees include former Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, political commentator Tucker Carlson, and Tulsi Gabbard, who previously ran as a Democrat for president before joining the Republican Party. Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance, Speaker Mike Johnson, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) will also be present to lend their support.

The rally will also feature several members of Trump’s family, including Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara Trump, and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. From the music world, notable figures such as Death Row Records founder Michael Harris Jr., singer Lee Greenwood, and opera artist Christopher Macchio are set to make appearances. Madison Square Garden itself has hosted major political events in the past, including the Republican National Convention in 2004 and several Democratic National Conventions.

Trump’s campaign has indicated that they are making aggressive moves in several states that lean Democratic. Speaking at a rally earlier this month, Trump said, “We’re making a play for New Jersey. We’re making a play for Virginia,” and mentioned his goal to compete in states like Minnesota and New Mexico. He also expressed a commitment to addressing crime and revitalizing New York, a key part of his campaign message.

“We’re going to come in—number one, you have to stop crime, and we’re going to let the police do their job. They have to be given back their authority. They have to be able to do their job,” Trump stated during a campaign stop in Upper Manhattan. He emphasized his desire to “straighten out New York” and reaffirmed his love for the city.

This will be Trump’s second major rally in New York in recent months. In September, he held a rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, where over 60,000 tickets were requested, far exceeding the venue’s 16,000-seat capacity. Thousands of supporters who couldn’t get inside gathered to watch the event on large screens set up outside. Earlier this summer, Trump also held a rally at Crotona Park in the Bronx, which had a permit for 3,500 attendees but ultimately attracted up to 10,000 supporters, according to the New York Post.

Trump’s rallies have continued to draw massive crowds in various states, with his second event in Butler, Pennsylvania, drawing more than 20,000 attendees. A rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, earlier this year saw over 100,000 people, highlighting the ongoing enthusiasm among his base.

Trump has repeatedly criticized the state of New York, claiming it has “gotten so bad in the last three years, four years.” He remains optimistic that he can make a significant impact there. “We’re putting a big hit in New York—we could win New York,” he stated. Although New York is a traditionally deep blue state, another rally in the area may help energize Republican voters as they aim to hold onto their majority in the House of Representatives during November’s elections. Former President Ronald Reagan, in 1984, was the last Republican candidate to carry New York in a presidential election.

While a Trump victory in New York may be a long shot, the upcoming rally at Madison Square Garden—a symbol of the city’s cultural and political history—will serve as an opportunity for the former president to make his case to New Yorkers, energize his base, and influence the political landscape in a critical election year.
