(Scypre.com) – The cause of death for Jacky Oh, a former member of the cast of Nick Cannon’s “Wild ‘N Out,” has been disclosed following her unexpected passing at the age of 33.
According to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office, Oh’s cause of death was attributed to “complications arising from a cosmetic surgery procedure.”
Born Jacklyn Smith, Oh had undergone a “gluteal augmentation procedure” on May 30, which proceeded without any complications, as stated in the report.
Following the surgery, she was prescribed ciprofloxacin as an antibiotic, oxycodone for pain relief, and ondansetron to prevent nausea and vomiting. However, she developed a headache on May 31, and during a follow-up appointment, she was advised to discontinue ondansetron and use ibuprofen for relief.
On May 31, she started experiencing symptoms like a burning sensation in her head and difficulty speaking, prompting her aunt to call for emergency assistance.
Tragically, Oh became unresponsive before reaching the emergency room and was pronounced dead later. The report emphasized that she had no history of tobacco, alcohol, or drug use, and had previously undergone a successful breast surgery.
In June, a spokesperson from BET Media Group confirmed her passing to Fox News Digital, expressing deep sadness and commemorating her contributions as a cherished member of the “Wild N’ Out” family. The spokesperson conveyed condolences to her family, colleagues, and friends, highlighting her role as a loving mother of three.
Jacky Oh, survived by her three children, was in a long-term relationship with DC Young Fly, a well-known YouTuber whose real name is John Whitfield. In a statement to Fox News Digital, DC Young Fly expressed gratitude for the support and requested privacy during this challenging period.
