Biden Announces Gavin Newsom May Be Taking His Place

(Scypre.com) – President Biden recently praised California Governor Gavin Newsom, saying, “I want to talk about Governor Newsom. I want to thank him. He’s been one heck of a governor, man. Matter of fact, he could be anything he wants. He could have the job I’m looking for.” This happened at a big event with world leaders in San Francisco.

Some people are saying that Governor Newsom might be thinking about running for president. They mention he’s been traveling to different places, like Israel and China, and there are rumors of a “shadow campaign.” This means he might be getting ready to run for president without officially saying so.

There are also discussions about President Biden’s future in the 2024 race. Some Democrats are worried about his nomination strength, and others, like Rep. Tim Ryan, say they don’t think he or even Trump should run again. Even David Axelrod, who advised President Obama, is questioning if it’s the best choice for the Democratic Party.

People have different opinions. Some think Biden was the right choice for 2020 but might not be the best for 2024. Some Democrats want him to step aside. On the other hand, Sen. John Fetterman accuses Newsom of running a “shadow campaign” without officially announcing it.

Newsom has said he won’t run against Biden in 2024, but if Biden decides not to run, there could be other Democrats ready to jump into the race. A recent CNN poll shows Biden trailing Trump in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.

It’s also worth noting that Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips from Minnesota and spiritual guru Marianne Williamson are running in the primary against Biden. At 81 years old, Biden is already the oldest American president to-date.
