Missing Person Found Buried Under Los Angeles Home

(Scypre.com) – In a neighborhood in Los Angeles, detectives found what they think are the remains of a person who went missing in June.

This happened near Woodley Avenue and Woodley Place in North Hills. The police dug up the remains from a backyard. One resident said, “You can’t really believe it. It’s like the weirdest thing to happen.”

The police were seen in a video digging in the backyard of a big property with a pool and pool house. The remains are connected to someone who disappeared in June.

But the police didn’t give details about the person or the body. They said the Coroner’s Office will identify the remains.

According to KNBC-TV, the body might be of a male migrant worker. A homeowner told KTLA that the victim was maybe killed by a family member. LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton said they arrested a person for murder but didn’t give details about the suspect.

The charged person is Russell Robinson, a 48-year-old, according to KABC-TV. He’s suspected of murder and is held on $2 million bail. Chief Hamilton said, “Someone thought they could murder someone and hide the body. My message is very clear: the Los Angeles Police Department never gives up on homicide investigations. Ever.”
