This is The New Dangerous Concert Trend

(Scypre.com) – Taylor Swift experienced an incident during her ongoing Eras Tour where fans threw objects at her. As she exited backstage at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, some fans threw friendship bracelets towards her from above.

Swift appeared to dodge the incoming bracelets, while her security team intervened to stop people from throwing them. Prior to this incident, Swift had interacted with fans, waving at them and concluding her performance with her popular song “Karma” from her latest album. At the time of reporting, Swift’s representative had not provided a comment to Fox News Digital.

The incident garnered criticism from online fans who expressed their concerns about the safety of artists. One user pointed out that the security guards tried their best to block the thrown objects and deserved recognition.

Another user emphasized the need for fans to refrain from throwing items, regardless of their weight or significance, as it was disrespectful and could potentially harm the artists. A similar sentiment was echoed by another user who stated that fans’ priority should be the safety of the artists, and such behavior should not be normalized.

Instances of objects being thrown at performers have been observed with other artists as well, including Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerini, and Ariana Grande.

Adele, during her Las Vegas residency, addressed the issue firmly, expressing frustration at the lack of show etiquette and warning the audience against throwing items at her. The dangers of such incidents gained attention after Bebe Rexha was struck in the face with a phone during one of her performances in June.

She was hospitalized and later shared images of her injury, assuring fans of her well-being. When Rexha resumed her tour, she requested that fans refrain from throwing phones at her face, emphasizing the importance of a safe and enjoyable concert experience.
