Trump Expected to Face Arrest

(Scypre.com) – Former President Donald Trump revealed that he has received a letter from special counsel Jack Smith, stating that he is the target of a grand jury investigation related to the events of January 6th. According to Trump, he initially received the letter on a Sunday and expressed his expectation of facing both arrest and indictment.

Trump made his claims public on Truth Social, stating that Jack Smith, whom he referred to as a prosecutor with Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, sent the letter, giving him only four days to report to the Grand Jury. Trump believes that this situation is a deliberate effort by Joe Biden’s administration to target him, as he is Biden’s “NUMBER ONE POLITICAL OPPONENT.”

Drawing comparisons to previous investigations, such as the Trump-Russia investigation, Trump expressed his frustration with what he views as unjust treatment from law enforcement agencies. He also mentioned past impeachment attempts and various allegations against him, emphasizing that he believes all these investigations are politically motivated.

Trump further defended his actions on January 6th, asserting that he had the constitutional right to protest an election he believed to be rigged and stolen, just as Democrats have protested against him in the past. He accused the Democrats of cheating in the elections and criticized the Department of Justice and FBI for targeting those who raised concerns about election fraud rather than addressing the alleged cheating.

Trump concluded by stating that he will continue fighting for the American people despite these ongoing investigations, viewing them as attempts to hinder his efforts to serve the nation.

It’s worth noting that prior to these developments, Trump had already pleaded not guilty to federal charges stemming from a separate investigation led by Jack Smith into his alleged retention of classified records at Mar-a-Lago. This indictment marked the first time in U.S. history that a former president faced federal criminal charges.
